SEVV is a multidisciplinary design studio in Amsterdam which offers complete design solutions. The studio was established in 1990 by Edward van Vliet and since 2000 operates under the name SEVV. SEVV works project-based for both national and international companies.
In the designs of SEVV, interior, furniture, lighting, graphics and interaction design are integrated into one format of corporate design which represents the project. SEVV strives for a balance between function, atmosphere and emotion.
SEVV is guided by its own style and not by trends. Traditional design is mixed with high tech and/or natural materials with future focused production techniques. This, together with elements from different cultures, results in an eclectic way of design without an overflow of decorations
SEVV is interested in the identity and desired image of others. The products of SEVV create an atmosphere of luxury, exclusivity, well-being and personality to express this desired image. This atmosphere contributes to a positive experience of the design and asks for interaction.
